Concept

The Art Stay project with Hotel Skypark Kingstown Dongdaemun was designed to bring the dynamic energy of  Dongdaemun into the guestroom experience. Inspired by the district’s fashion, shopping, nightlife, and urban rhythm, each room becomes more than a place to stay — it becomes an immersive space shaped by the artist’s perspective, colors, objects, and visual storytelling.

Information

Location

Seongsu-dong is no longer just a neighborhood in Seoul.

it has become a living snapshot of the city’s changing taste.

Once an industrial area shaped by factories, workshops, and warehouses, Seongsu now moves with a different rhythm. Old brick buildings and raw concrete structures have been reimagined as cafés, galleries, concept stores, showrooms, and pop-up spaces, creating a landscape where the past and present naturally overlap. What makes Seongsu compelling is its sense of constant transformation. Global brands, independent creators, designers, artists, and young travelers all gather here, not only to consume trends, but to experience how Seoul is defining its new cultural identity.

Today, Seongsu feels less like a finished destination and more like an evolving editorial — a place where every alley, storefront, and renovated space tells a story about the city’s creative momentum.
